I have a mate who used to sit and munch a packet of them like boiled sweets. They really have multi species appeal. Phil.W

    Clowns

Couldn't agree with you more Graham. But as long as I have been associated with this site and its previous incarnation there has always been an anti carp bias from a few ill informed holier than than thou individuals. Their attitude has always been barbel angler good, carp angler bad. No room for...

    Clowns

Here we go again, another predictable anti carp rant. Bad behavior is by no means exclusive to carp anglers. You fellas need to join a well run syndicate, you will find a standard of behavior, ettiquete and particularly fish care that would put you self appointed experts to shame. Phil.W

    tiger nuts

"you should have seen some of the deaduns i saw in the valley, carp" I have been carp fishing as long as you,I have never met anyone else who has claimed to have have seen a dead fish attributed to tigers/peanuts. The whole problem was more theoretical than actually experienced on lakes. Phil.W

    tiger nuts

If you are worried about the safety use the ready prepared ones. To be honest the whole safety aspect of peanuts/tigers has been hugely exaggerated by people who prefer opinions over facts. I have never used tigers for barbel but my gut feeling is that there are better baits for barbel. Phil.W

    Daiwa Sensor Clear or GR60?

I've used both.I found Sensor to be a pretty good budget priced line, difficult to fault at the price.I found GR60 to be a class above, not the best casting line but tough as old rope.It won't let you down. Phil.W
