    Been using their Specialist Advanced 2.25 T.C for the past 6 years,lovely through action,great rods IMO,came with just the Avon tops(no quiver)if the new model is as good they'll be a bargain :)

    I use the small ones on Korda size 10 wide gape X which have quite a large eye so should be o.k on your larger sized hooks.used them for a few years now,great piece of kit.

    Totally agree,I dropped one of my 5000 XTEA,s on the kitchen floor and damaged the motion shaft,sent it off Monday morning and got it back the following Thursday as good as new at a very reasonable cost,great service :)

    Korda wide gape X for me,been using them for a few years now,no problems.

    Pinning down your hooklength and / or mainline?

    Coated braid hook length with tungsten putty mouse dropping size with a Gardner flying back lead does the trick for me.

    Same here Ray,free running lead,2-3ft coated braid(sufix camfusion) hook link with the last inch or so stripped back with a Korum aligner over the shank of a korda wide gape x size 10,works a treat
