I agree, interesting queastion. The barbel in Adam's Mill didn't do too bad, and they got a fair amount of pressure. However, a stretch only a couple of miles away saw literally no pressure, then turned up a 19-6 to someone fishing for perch with lobworms. So who knows??!!

I have a chub lo lite, which doesn't have any arms. However, i know there is a version available that does have them. Also, i'm sure that the Korum chair accessories will fit any chair, not just theirs. Have a look on their website to check though!! Thanks, Tim

Hi Chris, Whilst not Crete, a few years ago i went to Ibiza with my mates. I took a little travel rod with me, and float fished bread in the harbour. I caught a few nice bream. I then tried whitebait, and got bitten off twice by something that took me to school. Have fun! Tim

After my Abu Garcia folding spoon net snapped at the spreader block last season, i've bought myself a big (30 or 32") Wychwood pike / boat net. Only used it a few times so far, but looks good to date.

I had the Abu net for less than a season. Seemed great to start with, but the metal in the arms snapped at the spreader block. Shame, as it was a good concept
