Nope, never do. Not even when, a few years ago, some kind soul felt it necessary to send me a movie of a lady taking some fella's shorts down (in Yorkshire, interestingly) a generation ago with an "This is you, Boote...".

Nope - no view and no reply to him, and, for the record, not me (not being one for alien / inter-species encounters).

After just reading through the entire thread, and in response to some of the earlier posts regarding fox hunting. I,ve been driving a hackney cab at night in Liverpool for close on 25 years. Im not sure in which year fox hunting was banned, but in the last 5 years or so, the fox population has absolutely BOOMED!!!!!!!!!!!! Where as it was a very rare sight, if ever, to see a fox. I now see at least 10 EVERY night i'm at work. And its not just in the suburbs, the are slowly but surely getting closer and closer to the bright lights of the city, and also becoming less afraid of humans. I,m no expert, but even i can tell the effect the ban has had. To me, its only a matter of time before they will stand their ground instead of running away. What will it take to change the publics view of these cute shy creatures. possibly an atttack on a child, god forbid. If not to reinstate fox hunting, then at least a humane cull to reduce their numbers, preferably without Joe publics knowledge. The less he knows the better.

It wouldn't have anything to do with the booming urban population of humans then, terraced houses converted into 3 flats each (the obligatory loft conversion housing a family of........pick a number), the consequent doubling or tripling of garbage sacks oveflowing from open bins and the "fast food" culture that 's grown beyond belief with half-eaten chicken and chips and kebabs littering the streets like confetti every night?

No "new phenomenon" darn sarf in The Big Smoke, Dereck, I can assure you.

The problem with fox's, as I see it, is they come over here expecting free mortgages and face lifts on the NHS, then spit it back in our faces, by breaking into our homes and mauling our children in their beds!

Bring back fox hunting I say!

Though that's too good for them:mad:

Derek, was your local hunt regularly seen rampaging through Toxteth, Bootle or down Lime Street?

Paul, your first sentense has somewhat confused me, not hard I know but if you never view clips or links seemingly of yourself.
How do you know anything of the content in the footage fore mentioned, especially small details like location of filming being Yorkshire?

If you were to view my clip (which I do still believe you will/have), you'd see a certain Paul Boote has been filmed, though because I've never seen you, I don't know which is P. Boote?

To help you out Colin, I can inform you that neither of the two in your film is our own PB. Remarkably, there appears to be someone among the 6 billion folks on the planet with the same name.

There might even be another Colin Gordon. Stranger things have happened. He may even have been filmed and posted up on youtube or similar.

Fortunately, I am too busy to look that sort of thing up. Feel free to post it if you find it, though...within the rules of the forum and at the discretion of its tireless moderators.

best,

Jon Berry
(who also exists elsewhere and, to my horror, is a country and western singer...)

The truth is Jon there is very little to discuss these days............I could make a few more 'Count' jokes at this point but I'll restrain myself.

Fair enough Adrian. May as well lock her up then. Continuing this is only likely to re-tread a familiar old route.

cheers

Jon
