Congratulations................

Congratulations. At least Ash gets it. And just for the record. This particular country bumpkin lives in a town, a new town actualy, with a population of around 150,000. I estimate about 50,000 of them are townies.
Last post from me this week as this phone is driving me nuts.

Adrian

Just turn the phone off, it usually works for me ;)

Yeah Ash just gets that he also lives in a town :D

Far from my last piece of drivel. I cant believe the mods let this "rubbish" go on. :p

The stretch of river I usually fish has rubbish bins every hundred yards or so (probably less than that actually) throughout the full length of the fishery....and STILL some folk drop their litter wherever they happen to be when they are finished with it  It is in an area with full public access, so it won't all be anglers, but whoever it is, they only have to hang on to their trash for a max of fifty yards, and they can pop it in a bin....and they know that, because they keep passing them. What the hell is wrong with people like that?

Cheers, Dave.

It drives me mad too, I do challenge such scumbags ,cos that's what grumpy old gits do:) and when I get some audible sort of a reply it's along the lines that street cleaners need work, followed by a chortled laugh from his equally moronic mates, but actually there is normally one half decent one that picks up the litter.
I reckon it is deeply uncool to place litter in a bin for these types, as it is to say please or thank you....stick 'em the military, bring back National Service, and the Birch etc etc.

Kill em all, I say, but please take the bodies home and don't leave them in body bags hanging from the trees.

I will tell you what is worse than that...................

Dog owners who think it is perfectly acceptable to bag up their dogs muck and then throw the bag in the bushes:mad::mad::mad:

Got to say Mark

"so sorry for being a townie and leaving some litter but as you have the advantage with having six fingers do us a favour and pick it up for us ! "

Great post and I also laughed a lot.

Hi Guys,
Great to be back posting intellectual nuggets. Not nice to accuse country folk of having extra fingers....especially when they have all those extra toes as well.
Regards,
Graham.

nope sorry, look at there wives. Most of them resemble there sister. they struggle to string a sentance together and if it was not for us townies supporting there local " farmers Markets" ( rip off stalls ) most would be signing a p45 by now.

Loving this thread

I strongly suspect that it was East Europeans that left this mess probably whilst poaching, and probably, before the opening day of the season. It might have been worth while opening the bag to see if there were wrappers with foreign writing and strange names as that would pretty well confirm the identity of the culprits. Agree with Tom, the other group who put bags in trees are dog walkers - can't see the logic at all.
