Congratulations................

One point to make here, aside from the bickering, is that 'we' as anglers (this includes the pious, the bigots, the racists and everything in-between) get a bad name by leaving rubbish around and should always take responsibility. Some stretches of otherwise unspoilt countryside (the stuff that's all green and muddy outside the towns - say the Stour at Longham), get heavily littered obviously by anglers - and it's there to be seen by walkers, bird watchers, dog walkers… and perhaps one or two that would like to see the end of angling. Full stop.

No its in this country but its not IN the country :)

Looks full of Tonies to me

Guess you think if you have a big garden in London your in the country :D

Clapham.jpg

Looks pretty rural to me. :D

The stretch of river I usually fish has rubbish bins every hundred yards or so (probably less than that actually) throughout the full length of the fishery....and STILL some folk drop their litter wherever they happen to be when they are finished with it  It is in an area with full public access, so it won't all be anglers, but whoever it is, they only have to hang on to their trash for a max of fifty yards, and they can pop it in a bin....and they know that, because they keep passing them. What the hell is wrong with people like that?

Cheers, Dave.

That Clapham is the one in Yorkshire and probably is Rural but not where "Ash the Chav " lives :D Hes a shandy drinking Townie :)

Ash are you on the pub quiz team? The picture is in Yorkshire! Not where you live as your a townie ;)

As In Clapham common LOL thats the only field they have, but theres acres of fields in Yorkshire :D

John, your such a townie that you really are missing the point about what it is to be a townie.

Its an attitude thing not where you are from.

Dont just take offence for the sake of it. It is a modern phenomenon that people think make them look intelligent.

It does the exact opposite.

Ok Ash

I will take my litter home ;)

you work out where you live :D

Pointing out that "taking offence for the sake of it, is a modern phenomenon that people think make them look intelligent", is a modern phenomenon that people use to justify a personal prejudice because they have no reasonable argument to sustain it.

Thread end yet? Surely, put us out of our misery.

8 pages of rubbish and I have put mine in the bin ;)

Prejudice?

Dont be a wet blanket.

If you think I (and probably Adrian) am/are prejudice against people living in or coming from Towns then..... oh I give up.

Another modern phenomenon, I've only just become aware of, is people missing the point entirely!

townies

so sorry for being a townie and leaving some litter but as you have the advantage with having six fingers  do us a favour and pick it up for us !

laughed like f@ck :D:D:D Don't even know who the hell left the thing (if left there deliberately or not) The "townie" remark is very offensive and some replies from "country folk" make me wonder:confused:
