I think mine might be the same as yours Mick. I have given it a good rub down with a viagra based matt varnish and teamed it up with a speedia. The total cost for the reel and rod was ten pounds of your finest english money (seven for the rod three for the reel). Looking forward to the new...
I have just acquired one of these in a 1lb 1/4oz test curve with a built in quiver. I believe they were made by a certain Paul Boote who use to post on here. I just wondered if anyone knows what blank etc they were made from?
I know this is a bit of a long shot. But does anyone have any spare quivertips for the above rod.
I have a pair of Barbel Specialists 1 1/2 lb socket for the tips are very small between 2-2.5mm
The rod hasn't got a test curve on it but reading on the net they seem to be built around 1994 and the test curves were stated at 1.75lb. Mybe someone on here might know more about them. As for price i don't have a clue. They seem very very rare!
This is a post i found on here.
Hi Jerry, The...
Yes it was, i thought the same as you and put it on ebay. But the bottom has fallen out of the pakaseat market omly got £32 for it. This one was in very good condition there was one on afterwards made £15:(
I bought a pakaseat from a boot fair last year for £3, It was just too low for me though the design did have some good points. At the moment using a chub nomad chair (£10 from a boot fair) and a small ex-army shoulder bag which works fine, but it would be nice to combined the two.
Does anyone have any insight or similar on these.
