Storing spare rod tips was the reason I stopped buying multiple tip rods as I'd leave the spare top sections in the garage then they'd just get ruined buried under all my other junk I threw in there. Like the idea of making racks for them as I do still have a few spare tips.

Love the old shimanos have 3 X 5010 and 3 X 5000 gte's. Have never got on with a shimano after those have brought most models and quickly sold them. The only reels that are close imo are my Daiwa emcast 4000 br's
