My "swim" is roughly 6 metres wide, its really really weedy. The baitdropper gets stuck on the weed each time and I make so much noise and disturbance getting it back in. I will try again with the dropper though, maybe get damp one night after work this week and make a few more holes in the weed
I will walk down to my swim baiting others on the way. I will then sit in my swim for about 45 mins. If I dont catch one in that time I will move back along the river to the swims I have baited. I have one 11pm swim I usually manage to wrinkle one out of!
Last time these bags were in there I hid 3 waited until the others had been sold and asked for a discount on the 3 left. Got them for a fiver each. Great bags

I broke mine on its first outing about 5 or 6 years ago on some hawthorn.
Let me know if you do...

Last year they were late and this year even later.
Does anyone else have any photos of this years spawning?

I used 25lb whiplash camo up until last year, It was getting too expensive to replace every year.
My river is very very weedy come late July and braid is a godsend.
If you do use it for more than one season check for fraying.
I have gone back to good old Drennan ESP Olive Carp Mono in 12lb...
