    5 metre Bait spoon

My "swim" is roughly 6 metres wide, its really really weedy. The baitdropper gets stuck on the weed each time and I make so much noise and disturbance getting it back in. I will try again with the dropper though, maybe get damp one night after work this week and make a few more holes in the weed

    How long

I will walk down to my swim baiting others on the way. I will then sit in my swim for about 45 mins. If I dont catch one in that time I will move back along the river to the swims I have baited. I have one 11pm swim I usually manage to wrinkle one out of!

    5 metre Bait spoon

Does anyone use the bait spoon method to trickle feed into a swim, if so are the result more favorable than a dropper?

Wanted - Shimano Hyperloop Barbel Power Rod Quiver Section

Bit of a long shot here, but does anyone have a quiver section for this rod for sale at all? I broke mine on its first outing about 5 or 6 years ago on some hawthorn. Let me know if you do... Russell

The Merits Of Braid For Mainline?

I used 25lb whiplash camo up until last year, It was getting too expensive to replace every year. My river is very very weedy come late July and braid is a godsend. If you do use it for more than one season check for fraying. I have gone back to good old Drennan ESP Olive Carp Mono in 12lb...
