Perch

Hi guys,
Just thought I'd stick up a couple of Thames crackers I was fortunate to catch in the last week of the season. It has been a really tough winter with high coloured water and low water temps but the last week was settled, almost no colour and a slight rise in water temps.

This one at 4.2



and then this one that is my bucket list perch and absolutely blew me away. It went 5.1 on my scales and 5.2 on a friends set.



Both taken on the float with lobs over alot of chops and red maggot.

what an incredible pair....I'm in absolute awe....
 
Wow they are the biggest pair of Perch i've ever seen.."Crackers"..
in fact that 5.1 was used by 'The Aquaphibians' in 'Stingray' as their Craft!!....
