Well I knew they would be good but these are just sensational.
Got to meet the builder himself which was a nice touch as he went through in detail exactly what was done.
The tip was my own little design which I’d done myself to previous rods and mark said himself it was a great way to do it so i imagine one or two more custom builds will go out with the same idea. Mark has obviously done a much neater job again 🙂

Check out marks outstanding work. I cannot wait to christen them. (Hopefully not with bream😂)

Now I’ve seen lots of attempts of tip isotopes some really good and some not so good but imho this is to date the neatest job I’ve ever seen of them fitted. You can hardly even see the whipping either side of the tube it’s that subtle. Anyway less talk and cast your eyes over this stunning pair of barbel rods.

Very nice I thought they had stopped doing the Coloured blanks or was it just the chestnut ?
Yes they did. Was very fond of the chestnut and green. Was very convenient to order a coloured blank from Harrison at no extra cost. Can understand some of the reasons for stopping it. Now have to DIY.
Cheers Bob

I've had a few rods from Mark and they've all been top notch. I much prefer the 11ft Torrix to the 12ft which (even though it's the same TC) as the 11ft felt much softer. I use the 11ft for rolling meat and it's unbelievably light and sensitive but with huge power.

When I had the barbel seekers built ..I had seen the colour whipping I wanted on the new century armalites and had to have it.... also Had the white tips done but really like the look of yours Richard ..... tip eyes were the screw in quiver type to accommodate some isotope holders I had made myself
