If I said your local, shop, pub etc we’d all have pretty good comprehension of what that means. Why then in this instance is it such a difficult concept. Personally I think it’s because people who wish to either lock the world up or completely flout it are picking at it, leaving the rest of us confused.
Let’s say we did go ahead and say 10 miles. How is that implemented? Do we produce ID to the policeman when he asks? Where’s he coming from, there aren’t many policemen. Do they fill the courts with people arguing it was 9.9 miles not 10.1.

Let’s say we do go the route done are asking for, similar to those implemented in parts of Europe. Would we be happy if you couldn’t go to Aldi and had to shop in Waitrose because it’s closer? If we compare the death rates we capitata (particularly before this strain) with places like France, Spain, Italy is the death rate significantly better as to prove that this model works or actually to be properly effective would far harsher restrictions be required to make a difference in the way they have in say SK.
When all is said and done I’m not sure many of us would want stricter more concrete rules, I’m also not sure if they would achieve any measurable positive correlation unless we put in place such strict terms it would be unacceptable.
