Ebay madness

I had a Packaseat, bought it when they came out, I used to work in Chubb's of Edgware and our rep was Fred J Taylor.

He laughed he socks off when I told him how I had tobogganed into the Kennet from a steep bank!

That was the last time I used it, I hope the chap that parted with all that dosh does not try and use it in February!!:D

Hi men ,

I had one of these , cant remember any problems with them , but it was a long time ago :D.

On a simular theme , I also had a Rod Hutchinson bedchair cover . Standard sunlounger covered in a thick black waterproof cover , which had a built in sleeping bag cover stitche to the foot area. On the back was a large rucksack / bag , and clip on webbing to carry it rucksack style . Added some custom adjuster legs on sale at the time , it was the ultamate carp chair . When new stuff came along , I used the sleeping bag cover for a multitude of things , it was really good matirial .

i had a sun lounger with a old duvet on it....lol:p

I had one of the original Fox bedchairs and only sold it recently at a boot sale, I should have put it in the loft and waited for it to reach iconic status.

Pakaseats were marvellous things at the time, the only problem was using them on nice wet sloping riverbanks where they assumed all the characteristics of a toboggun ! a bit like yellow Capris with Black vinyl roofs from the same era, popular but rubbish and now seemingly collectable :)

I had a Mk 2 Escort in Signal Amber with a black vinyl roof, come to think of it was probably around the same time as I bought the Pakaseat.

Quality motor :) I had a mk1 1300 sport (there's a contradiction !) Carnival red with a big yellow stripe down it, Rostyle wheels the works, the Girlfriend lost the back end driving me back from the pub one night and side swiped a Capri coming the other way, neither of them are collectable now :D

Enough about your old girlfriend, what about the Mk1 car?

It's amazing the stuff that people will pay good money for despite it being second hand. I think the redundant one I have kicking about might have to be cleaned up a bit!
daiwa float tackle box | eBay
Daiwa float tackle box with 2 shelves ,loads of tackle,lines,weights,18 feeders, split shoot, hooks, team daiwa hook wallet full of hooks,floats(middy,drennan,fox)70 floats+26 pole floats in very good condition

Not a bad price for all that lot, 18 feeders would cost you £30, 70 floats @ 50p each is another £35, 26 pole floats @75p each is near as dammit £20 and a wallet full of hooks and other sundries another £20.
I reckon someone got a bargain.

To be quite truthful, I didn't look at anything but the header and first pic until after I'd posted. Probably not that mad after all. I suppose I could fill my old Daiwa box with all the ancient odds and sods I never use.;):)
