Ebay madness

They are also selling a pike/barbel tube for the same price, its supply and demand,There are a number of silly prices on ebay ,and every so often some rich twit must click on them and the seller has a right result.

That'll be due to no stock... watch the price drop dramatically when the seller has some. Saves jumping through the hoops of a new listing or paying new listing fees.

Mike has it right. Sellers do this when they have no stock. They put the price up by moving the decimal point a few places or slapping a couple of extra nines on the front. If they simply de-listed, and re-listed when stock arrived, they'd incur extra charges from ebay. I guess that if anyone is dull enough to pay the stupid amounts, they take the money and risk the negative feedback for a late delivery.

Previously sold by same fella. Obviously cock-up by ebay.

Did you not read the two posts above yours Chris (not to mention the dozens of previous posts on this subject ) Surely they explain the reason why this is done clearly enough? Or are you even slower at typing than I am, so didn't get yours on in time :D:D

Cheers, Dave.
