Just to keep everyone informed…Very good news…This message was relayed to me by Rob Swindells on Thursday 9th Feb.

“he’s improving greatly mate, although speech is still poor it has improved. He’s out of bed each day using a walking frame and nurse for support. He also managed to eat a solid meal over the weekend instead of being tube fed which is great”.

Lets hope the recovery continues and we all send our best wishes to Dave and his family.

Providers of the best Elips in the business, Teme7. Not met Dave, but like his approach when I've read about his barbelling in articles and he seems a lovely guy. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Excellent news guys. Really pleased - if he has started eating as opposed to tube fed then that will also help the return of his speech - especially so soon after.

Rob whats his recollection/memory like at the moment - does he remember his involvement in Barbel Scene?
