Dave Mason

Dave

Hi all, Ive just this minute got back from an afternoon visit to see Dave in hospital and I have to say its a vast improvement from my last visit. Speech is getting better all the time and hes sat upright in bed smiling which is brilliant to see. All tubes completely gone now and back to solid meals, leg and arm functions are good and there looking to move him to a rehab unit closer to home very soon. Ive past on all comments from everyone at BFW and all the folk that have mailed and rang me, he looked really well chuffed!!

I can see vast improvements over the last five weeks so there really is light at the end of the tunnel.
Once again thankyou for kind comments and support

Rob, i dont know Dave but that is good news, long may it continue...

Great news indeed Rob, I can well imagine the relief and joy his family and friends are enjoying now as he makes steady progress. Let's hope he is able to get back to the hobby he loves in double quick time.

Cheers, Dave.

Hi men,

I had a big smile on my face , his wife let me know the language is what I'm used to :D :D !, pukka mate , keep it going .

Another quick update on Dave as I managed a very quick visit on Sunday. Speech is still about the same as last time and tends to get worse as he tires(which is very quickly),hes lost quite a bit of weight but looks good with it to be honest.Dave it has to be said is now quite aware of the long road ahead of him to recovery but with this in mind remains very positive. He passes on again all thanks to well wishers.

Great stuff Rob, his folk must be over the moon. Get him a bunch of rings and some whipping silk and get him sitting up re-ringing a rod. That should get his mind and dexterity working again :D

Cheers, Dave.

Thanks for the update Rob. Great to hear he is improving. Suggest he works on some Teme Severn new baits whilst he's resting.:D

Graham

Hi men ,

Graham , he works on baits that don't see the light for a couple of seasons , so all in hand :D, I have a couple of baits being tested that ain't due for release for another year !.

Cheers Rob - have been wondering but didn't want to push you again.

Pass on my regards.

Is he still in the same place or have they moved him for specialist rehabilitation as yet? - they work them hard in those units - my dad was the same - that will explain tiredness.

Best Wishes.

Hi Chris, yes Dave has been moved this week and i will be seeing him this weekend he is making progress albeit slow, will keep everyone posted with his progress cheers.

Hi men,

Will be a long road , a long time , but a more streamlined Dave that will be back on the bank !.
