BFW Grayling Fish-In

Hello Steve - yeah had a couple on the float and a bigger one (pound plus) on maggot feeder, along with a couple of decent chub. All from further up the river, in the field above the sluice bridge.
My maggots - yours only catch minnows ;)

I'll be going back as well Steve.

Still smarting over the lost roach, estimated at around 2 1/2lb. Straight after I mumbled ..."please don't come off!" followed by a very loud 4 letter word.

Had one over the pound and this nice plump perch. 5 small chub to 3lb, couple of grayling and one good dace.

Great day folks ... Hope for an invite for next time. May even have a crack for the roach now that I know where they are;)

I was lucky enough to get a 2:3 Grayling the following day from a bit further down stream plus some clonking great chub ...... Then the day after that on the Test resulted about 75lb of fish with trout to over 6lb and a dozen or so Grayling:D

Thats my river fix out of the way now ... can concentrate on pike on the fly, monster tench and stalking carp:)

Those Roach are gorgeous but so elusive, my mate lost a fish of a similar size at the net a few years back, he was almost inconsolable !
