Good advice MR Charlton must be the time of year , lol. Only difference for me is that the boilies have been glugged for nearly 12 months:) Also sometimes use a block end feeder with just paste in;)

Thats what i did last week mate,although ive started to tinker with my own baits and ive not seen much difference in catch rates yet but its nice to catch on your own bait.

Think your right mate,to much thinking about it when the simple usualy works for the Barbel. Will pick a couple of kilo of my usualy boile in the morning and crush half of it. Unless i fancy the Chub then will get my cheese paste out!!!

Stu Most of the fish have come to a simple pellet with paste around it. The last batch i knocked up had 3 flavours of boilie and a bit of fishmeal in it to bulk it out. Dont fancy buying 3 bags of boilie again to make paste but may be am just being to predantic an just keep to location baits.;)
