Same here rods with quivers are a waste of time in my eyes but if u get a stronger tip for heavier casting and it fits the blank then that is fine but id prefer to keep it simple as possible!

This is the one i use, lovely bit of kit and its still going strong after a few years use, fits my jrc 60 oval brolly nicely and storm poles, bank sticks etc.!
When do you guys use rig tubing for barbel fishing if at all?
I use it for all my carp fishing as i only fish in silty areas and slack line, with barbel i'm often fishing in a flow!! and a tight/tighter line in this instance i imagine the rig tubing sticking up a bit so haven't bothered to...
Had a quick look at one today in the shop! The bag its self i really liked, but i didnt find it that comfortable on the shoulder straps, need to find somewhere local which does the fox and the gardner bag so i can do a compare!! :confused:
