Yep, totally agree with all of the above. The BBC always seem to excel at this type of programme. I've seen three, i thought there was one left (Autumn). Maybe i missed it, hope not.....

As Simon has already said, touch ledgering if you are using just the one rod. I've often nodded off but the rod being pulled out of your hand tends to wake you up :D

Spot on Mark, i think you may find that his brother owns a fishery there, possibly the one you mention. As an earlier poster said, a great place to visit but not so sure i'd like to stay all year. Me? I love the seasons too much....:)

Well, after lots of soul searching and looking for suitable alternatives i'm seriously considering selling my beloved 54's.:( Still got the original boxes, manuals, etc. They don't seem to come up on the auction sites often so i'm wondering what price they are likely to fetch? Anyone any idea...

Spot on Mark, one of the best in his day. Someone will get some very nice rods, but i doubt they will be cheap.....;)
