Having an annoying tackle buying addiction there’s loads i regret selling, however i also do look at things and think why am i keeping them, they should be used. I could write a long list of what i wish i hadn’t sold, but then i could also write a long list of things I don’t understand why i...
Having spent my life feathering and feeling the rig down from my younger years of carping i don’t think i’ve used an automatic bail arm for years. Only time i can think of was my early teens spinning for pike but that’s 20 years ago.
Is it similar to the medium feeder that does both lengths? If so was my go to chub rod, now use the new version after an unfortunate incident cutting down what i thought was an empty for tube.
Now the season has been going for a couple of months what’s your go to hookbaits? I always like maggot or small pellet at the start of the season, but as it goes on always find myself going from pellet, to meat, to boilie but can never settle on a winning method.
You hear it in a video on the omc facebook page. It sounds like a mouse trap going off. That straight away put me off it before i even knew what it was. All the lakes i fish have banned it already and even if they hadn’t i’d never use it, just doesn’t feel right too me.

Looking for a low stretch mono for my barbel rods. Don’t fancy braid and toying with fluro as that’s low stretch but just seeing if there’s anything else / other recommendations.

Rods Ideally want to meet up within 20 miles radius of Reading for rods as postage is extortionate

Get a pair of fortis switch that change with the light. Have glass costas, a pair of maui jim’s and a pair of oakleys (i’ve been a polaroids tart for years always thinking the expensive ones will make me see everything underwater). Have spent hours side by side on lakes and rivers with a friend...
That’s good to know, I messaged him earlier this year and he said he wasn’t building at the time. Will ping him another one in a few weeks see if he gets any blanks in stock.
Best chub rod by a mile in my opinion. Don’t have to break it down with either to change from 11.6-12.6

Having had my permit for 4 years at £250 a year. I’ve fished it 3 times, so this year i’d like to try and actually get some value for money and get there a lot more.
