Yes the new ones are the ones with cork and Alps reel seat ! Is that the ones you mean ?
Or the mk 3 with the steel ball as a butt cap

I’ve had a few armalite rods but only the carp ones they always felt just a bit too heavy to me but the lighter TC might be a lot different. good luck in finding one though Adam
