The rod you have for sale is the Free spirit "Spirit Barbel 12' 2.25lb"
The "Big River Barbel" is part of the S range of rods.There is also a "Big Water" rod that belongs to the HI S range.

This place is located on the banks of the Teviot, so only to be expected really.I was there 5/6 years ago with the family.We had a walk down the river around noon and watched one of our furry friends for around 20 minutes,didn't seem bothered by our presence in the least.:rolleyes:
What if the original poster was fishing on a tidal section of river?
I'm led to believe neither club would own the fishing rights,just access rights.
