I use the small ones on Korda size 10 wide gape X which have quite a large eye so should be o.k on your larger sized hooks.used them for a few years now,great piece of kit.
Totally agree,I dropped one of my 5000 XTEA,s on the kitchen floor and damaged the motion shaft,sent it off Monday morning and got it back the following Thursday as good as new at a very reasonable cost,great service :)
Same here Ray,free running lead,2-3ft coated braid(sufix camfusion) hook link with the last inch or so stripped back with a Korum aligner over the shank of a korda wide gape x size 10,works a treat
From the Ribble down to the Wye and most of the decent(barbel)rivers in between plus specimen carp,tench and bream in the still waters,great value fishing,well worth the wait,enjoy.
A tip for Korum users,put the rods Into the holdall when there are no bank sticks or landing net handle in the side pockets,and when you arrive at your swim take out the sticks and handle first,this makes rod insertion and removal so much easier.
You could put the Isotope in clear shrink tube and gently heat till it shrinks,leave a tag at either end and then whip it to the rod tip in a position to suit you.I did this to my rods but I put two isotopes(Drennan) on each rod about 10 inches apart,I did this over two years ago and have had no...
