I believe the new version has a fleece lining. The previous model didn't and they're warm enough for me. Got my son the equivalent, Muckmasters. Was worried the sports would be too warm.
My club has introduced a blanket ban on braided mainline. Could anyone recommend a nylon more like braid ie. minimal stretch, very limp and strong for its breaking strain? Please, nylon feels like using elastic after over 20 years using braid.
While on the subject of bait, my son has found a stock of old unused bait including some of the old Rod Hutchinson powder to make boilies. Were the first boilies I ever used and the one I found effective was called something like seafood. Anyone remember?

Probably about 10 or more years ago I hadn't renewed my Verulam ticket by opening day and had had a couple of good sessions upstream in some free water. The upper Lea, there's an old ford, now with a footbridge over my son and I stood on. Dropped no more than 20 6mm halibut pellets to guage the...
Some quite expensive centerpins announced by Thomas Turner made of the same stuff, I think. Have a look.
Unusual design with no drain holes.
Look lovely and with braid it could work?
I wasn't implying they weren't strong. They are, immensely. Additional arms and padding obviously add weight. It's surely better to add weight to a light chair than a heavy steel framed one?
It was only the fabric giving out on my 25yr old one that made me change it. It's now been recycled as a...
Tuna salads. Various ones available in heavy foil containers. I always keep a few in the car for emergencies. Last for ages.
Otherwise a couple of scotch eggs and some cheese.
