I got a pair of these,well one duo and one duo lite,and for the money they are great,seen them go for as much as £150 each on ebay so this is a bargain!

If you only got normal spam get a jar of "very easy" garlic and put some in with your diced meat,works a treat,i also put some of the chillies in aswell and had a few............then again if they in feeding mood they will eat anything!
Himley hall used to have a lot of crucians,in fact I think mat hayes fished there for them on one of his programmes,not sure these days what is caught from there,not been for years.
I just use the cheapo ones from lidl and as said don't concentrate on the isotope itself just have it out the line of sight youll soon see it move when a barb picks your bait up.

I remember fishing at defford years ago to suddenly see loads of small sailing boats coming down the river,one seemed to purposely swerve towards me and nearly took my rod in,the next one to approach me got a pult full of maggots in the boat :-)
