I have heat shrink tubed mine on my tips like Dave Lumb does on some of his rods if you want. Alot mbetter than having an isotope sticking up in the air, as found sometimes the line can catch round the holder.

I prefer the excitement of seeing the arm going round and seeing where it stops. Mate has fox digi's and has no problem with them, however i have heard quite a few do.
