If you have an understanding missus or a blender that you have spare then blitz the hemp in the liquid until it reaches a soup consistency....add it as your liquid to your groundbait. This method has been great for me for Dubs the last two seasons. I have started blending luncheon meat in it too.

The teme seems to be doing well on the barbel front. Having done the hard yards in the off season there is an abundance barbel. I'll try and post a video my mate made.
I disagree Dean....if I was to do it I'd be only out for eels. I can't really claim the eel as a fish by design as it took a deadbait for a pike on the Trent but hey ho. I agree with the larger eels coming from Stillwaters.
Has anyone ever taken advantage of the byelaw for fishing eels in the closed season? I want a chance at a big river eel off the Severn. My pb is a measly 4lbs 2oz and thought I may Try for a better anguilla.
