I see the price of grub has gone up

Maggot prices will be going up. Mostly due to fuel and electricity cost. Also cost and difficulty in getting meat is making it hard for farms. A couple have recently closed down, so expect shortages.

    waterproofing jackets

Diver Daves repel for me too. Water just beads off, read the instructions a couple of things to be aware of. Top bloke too if you need breathable waders. Dave

    Moved...to where?

Very difficult on a forum to protect your brand and who posts on there Shimano, Harrison etc must owe this site thousands in product placement and Shimano still dont make a 5000 size baitrunner! Maybe we should all email bait tech and get them to put a link to this fine site on their web site...

    Ebay madness

Surely someone paying over the odds at an auction does not make the vendor a "pirate"? I have two, but knowing my luck they wouldn't reach such heights. dave

    landing net

I like the idea of the folding wychwood its new out I think as no one seems to have stock. still using my Leslie insight net, heavy but sturdy with a deep net for resting fish. trying to cut my kit down a bit so a lighter folder would be handy. I carry way too much kit:o dave

    Reels

Had a Suveran 3000, nice reel but the spool was a bit too narrow for my liking. Best drag ever but expensive. secondhand you get your money back and a bit now! I like my Daiwa 4000z baitrunners. Nice wide spool, quick fold handle and good price. If you dont want a baitrunner the new Aero...
