Here’s how to tie a Palomar knot :
Step 1

Double the line over to make a loop and pass it through the eye of the hook or swivel and then double it back on itself.
Step 2

Pass the end back through the new loop.
Step 3

Pass the swivel or hook through the end of the loop.
Step 4

Wet the line with some saliva and gently pull the knot tight.
