Why Korum, why?

That’s a shame that it’s not going to work for you.
The only thing i could suggest is, if you really like it otherwise. Put another handle on it in the correct place so it balances up with your stuff

Hi Rich, might not have worded my last post very well but it’s working out fine. I’m just using the shoulder strap as a carry handle. I’m very happy with it.

Hey, that lunch box took some development! The way that lid seals to keep your food fresh is cutting edge engineering!

And those locking clips! Thing of beauty! I bet they make a lovely 'click' sound as you push them down.

Lot of money being wasted by the Rather Outdoors group, Fox Rage who they own also brought out socks on the last release.

Not to mention that barbel wallet, I mean what’s wrong with them, too much money to burn?

The old hardcase Rodbags- total protection in the two rod guise was a great bit of kit( I have one but want another for a mate) but they don’t do them anymore which is a shame

Great bit of kit,Yep plenty of room for any brolly like the Fox specialist.Ive still got the original and bought two more since.
They pop up on Ebay and marketplace.
The one or two versions after the original are just as good.

The fact that people are talking about it? Would suggest that there marketing is working? I’d be interested in what korum gear we all own? I’ll kick it off 😁. I have, 1 original metal framed latex landing net. 1 aeronium chair, very light and water proof.

I probably have one

I don't think people laughing at their product release was the response the marketing team were hoping for 😂👍🏻

But in the past I have been pretty much 100% korum. I took a long break from fishing and upon returning I bought into korum as I've always liked the Specialist side of things and their stuff was affordable since I was pretty much replacing everything. It served me well, the £50 barbel rods and the allround quiver were ok for the price, barbel line never failed me, love the current roving kit and the super lite mat. But after that the releases went down hill. For the same price the 3K series of rods are awful and a step down to the ones they replaced. Some hooks let go on me and didn't seem very sharp out the packet and the baiting needles seem like genuine AliExpress items. All I have left now is my roving ruckbag, chair and supalite mat, along with a 11ft Glide power float that I think I've used about once.

They have made some real quality gear and some real shockers (like most companies IMO) …the gear I really rate are (in no particular order):
1.Original Supalite chair, still going strong after much abuse and just right for roving sessions
2. Original ruckbags
3. Folding quivers
4. Original power expert specimen hooks
5. Gripper hooks
6. Glide line
7. Adjustable butt rests
8. Bolt and run rigs
9. Roving ruckbag (can’t remember exact name)
10. Bait and tackle bags

All superb quality gear that does the job for me

Korum has some really nice kits, what I like and using are:
quick mat
folding quiver
Bolt and run kit
Glide line
Roving ruckbag
Loaded Blox
Compact bait waiter

I have a mixed feeling of their landing nets, I like the concept behind those nets, but the quality is poor, can’t risk another snap when landing a fish…

Crap plastic feeders and a very brittle spopper,13 ft korum barbel rod is still going strong and the fastmat is a great product just watch for use in wind as a mates mat was blown away somewhere down the tidal Trent in the wee small hours.

I feel that most korum type brands that re market their existing products as being improved versions? Are almost always inferior and made at cost to be more profitable? 🤔
