14lb 7oz from the lower non-tidal trent. I'm not really into chasing the big fish like others do, i'd rather try and catch whatever swims and if i get a large fish look on it as a bonus because if i caught a huge fish i think it would dampen my enthusiasm somewhat.
 
10lb2oz river tees, this august, it was my first ever river caught barbel. Only started fishing for them in July. Thought I'd cracked it when I caught another of 9lb6oz fish a fortnight later. I've hit a brick wall now though.
 
Wish i could re vote as iv had a cracking 16lb 5oz lump today !!!!!

Thanks Chris. Must admit I did fancy it yesterday as the barometer fell quite steeply through the day and I always think the fish know when real cold weather is just around the corner.
