Not the best photo. We'd just finished removing a tree from the line last night but the river looked so fishy I took a quick phone photo.

Two swims on the Charente today.

This was the second swim I tried. Nothing doing.

The first swim is an eddy where a tree creates a backwater. I tried upstream and downstream without a bite. Surface temp wss 10.7C so the party should be starting soon.
