I’d just like to say that I’ve enjoyed looking at these amazing photos
Iam definitely inspired to dig out my old camera and have a go myself
The Lot, France, is going through a cold spell, even here there is a (short!) winter! Bright day with temperatures around freezing, so we took an afternoon drive up the Cele valley, a very picturesque tributary of the river Lot.
There are barbel here!
I have added a summer photo taken from the same spot as photo three, quite a difference through the seasons!
After that last photo of a swimming barbel I recalled one I had taken early last year. I caught this fish from a stone slipway, as I released it I had my phone camera ready and the light from the low winter sun was cutting through the trees.
