will post proper pics when finished as this is only the first coat, some more turning etc but thought ild throw a teaser out. I gave my builder a free rain really and so far exceeded my expectations. The red silk is a nice touch difference from the nylon and an an old school touch. The blue will tie in with something eles more to follow

It’s simply works, love how he got the cork into the reel seat area, I gave a some guidance and the rest was down to John. Problem is now it will not half look nice on office wall

The rod was picked up today and looks fabulous in the flesh, really happy with the work Dave has put into it
