Ebay madness

do they not sell the fox barbel plus rods any more is that why its making so much on ebay

They must have been superseded at least twice so no chance of a new one I doubt. I myself would not pay more than £50 for what is an average rod.

are the fox barbel plus the same colour blank like the matrix does any one know

I would imagine that someone perhaps just wanted to make a matching pair so price may come second. Why anyone would pay that much now for a 6 year old 'average' rod when the duo lite's have all been reduced is beyond me.....

duo lite - green
kevlex - burgundy
kevlar - carbon weave
duo - brown

I can understand why people want a matching pair but at what cost?, my brother picked up the duo lite 1.5lb on ebay for £60 inc of P&P brand spanking new.

Well i suppose the answer to that is that its a free world and we can spend our money however we like...

Cant knock the bloke who put the rod up for sale, im sure he's happy enough and nobody forced the two guys in the bidding war to keep bidding...

I totally agree with you Justin, if you have money to burn why not, the seller is fine anyone that gets silly money is doing fine by me, it is an auction after all it’s when you get an absolute bargain and they don’t want to sell problems arise.

I think the Korda ones look quite good, I might have to invest. Will they make me a better Karper? Will they help me spod my munga at 100yds? These are the important questions.
