Virtually impossible to know for sure without dissecting. I know that many suppliers sold browns to meet the demand for crus in the past, but i think that the crus in "that place" are genuine old estate lake stock, although if anything could have hybridised with the stunted commons that also live in there. It looks more crucian to me with the dorsal a little further back than you'd expect on brown goldfish, but the mouth looks very slightly different to what ive caught from lemington recently and they are certified true cru. Could just be the camera angle though. Still a lovely fish.
