Its called education......................

It's got nothing to do with education. The only reason that program makers are desperate to win over more folks, than the expected target audience, is revenue. The more people that they can get to watch, the more advertising revenue and the more chance of being able to make more programs, possibly with a bigger budget.

The origional question posed was "If you were given the opportunity to make a series of 6 angling programmes with a view to entertaining anglers, but also to present angling to the general public in such a way that was entertaining but also educational and informative, What sort of format would you propose?"

Thats why its got something to do with education...............

Your question may have, but it still has nothing to do with the reality of a commercial TV company and broadcaster.
 
just watched it myself.......why oh why that ratchet???.....poor lad couldnt run the float down the swim!!! (mind you neither could I with the ratchet on) #useyourthumb
