No! Vertical and supporting the line attached to a 12lb barbel, hopefully.

This opening week I shall be marrying up a lovely, diddy little 3 1/2" Slater Latch to an Allcocks Record Breaker on a delightful new stretch of the Gt. Ouse, though I do sincerely hope not to hook one of those elusive barbel on this set-up. Don't quite think I have the cojones for such, especially given the hours I spent restoring both of the aforementioned.
