Bite alarms for barbel fishing?

The Chairman on Sunday

Ah. Well, clearly young and still blissfully ignorant of the finer things in life Stephen, if you have to ask, you don't know (your loss). Better that you get on the interwotsit soonest, and see what deals they're currently doing on tankerloads of totally inedible (probably toxic to fish life too, but not to those who eat, say, High Street chain burgers regularly) coloured jam; you're going to need a lot of it.

Thanks for that reply Paul, but whats a Lady Guide ?

Slightly demanding day, visiting the west London solicitors who handle my less well-known operations - er, businesses - Messrs Yeah, Innit & Mann.

But an evening with one of our Lady Guides will set me straight.

No worries Chris, just a bit of harmless banter.

In my humble opinion (for what it's worth), all my fishing companions tell me that Delks are the dog's danglies. Whether the sensitivity of vibration indication over roller indication is important in barbel/river fishing then only you can decide for yourself. I still wait for the 2 foot twitch for barbel. Other river species I sat glued to quiver tips.

Myself - I have a set of old fox mmxr's gathering dust in the shed which will probably see me out till I shuffle off.

Dust them off and sell them to me!

Google Lady Guide. Her name is Natalie, 25 y.o. lives in Odessa, Ukraine, speaks perfect English and likes fishing.

That's the gal! We employ forty just like her here on the Beauchamps Estate ridding our waters of carp and salmon, another sixty in our Beecham Entertainments division, and heaven knows how many more in Beauchamps Recruitment, a company supplying the very best type of Researcher and P.A. to politicians, the City, captains of industry etc. Much in demand, can't get enough of 'em.
