    Perch

Hi Paul, That's a great fish from the Wye! I've found that the Drennan 10lb wire makes absolutely no difference to my catch rate or presentation with small livebaits and means you'll land more of the pike. :) There's also a chap on eBay selling 10m of 10lb BS unbranded wire for just £1...

Hi Dave, Yes, this is v1 and v2 will be released around March 2014 with intermediate fixes on the most pressing snags before then. The venues data is supplied from EA data which you might have seen in the EA's "Where To Fish" booklets etc. As you will be aware, it's notoriously hard to keep...

Hi Lee, The search result for Colsten Basset returns the Environment Agency gauge station for the River Smite at Colsten Basset. The River Smite is in the Lower Trent and Erewash river catchment, hence that label. A similar example is that a search for Hennor shows the Environment Agency gauge...

    Isotopes on rod tip.

I heard about the Hellermann tubing system yesterday - its expandable neoprene tubing that can be stretched 500% and is applied with a tool a bit like a bait bander. The larger tubing looks would fit over the tip eye of a rod. Wonder if something like this could work... The tool...
