Yet another vote for snugpak softie Jacket, I have been using mine for 10 years and put an ex army gortex over it when raining. Fantastic bit of kit, I cannot praise it high enough.
The Rovex John Wilson Avon Quiver Deluxe is the model I have. It has a green blank and comes with a dolly section to make up to 13 foot. Full cork handle. I have three, they are also my rods of choice for still water Roach.
Don't forget the John Wilson Avon Deluxe, still my favourite 1.25LB Chubbing rod, Comes with avon and quiver tops plus 3 quivers. Landed Barbel to 13 plus on mine while chubbing on the Trent.
Say a Barbel weighted 16.10 in the first two weeks of January, what is the maximum weight it could make come the last day of the season. This is a Trent fish and the river was in flood almost all this time. I know this isn't an exact science, but interesting nonetheless.
