Anyone seen one of these yet Shimano' X-Aero 4000 FA Baitrunner Fishing Reel'?
Looks like a premium bait runner in 4000 & 6000 - videos on FB. May be an XTEA equivalent .
Looking forward with anticipation to the off, On the Wye for me for three days. The below link from EA is really interesting at tracking water levels, it can be used by area and river for whole UK. If you too are watching the river levels , give it a go;

Hello Chaps looking for a quality , comfy but not too heavy chair , the Fox full recliner at 6 KG, is a pain, especially for some of the long walks, any view on the Nash indulgence?
Whilst having a blank yesterday I saw my first Otter in over 30 years of fishing. Cruising down mid stream before diving all down the inside line, needless to say a blank. Beautiful to see but extremely worrying for the fishing, there was a trout farm down stream, hopefully it will go there!
Hello team, I purchased ESP Curve shank 'barbless ' hooks by mistake, didn't notice the barbless. Worried these may cost hard earned fish. Any views? I was thinking of using them on easier waters where the odd bumped fish doesn't matter. Does anyone use barbless and have confidence in them?
Anyone able to recommend a wide bore, heavy anchor tube? Required for fishing on the Wye, thinking of rigs already and there is still 8 weeks to go!:cool:
Hello, I fancy trying the old fashioned but (apparently) effective Maggot feeder rig. Does any one have any simple rigs? I am thinking of scaling down slightly to 6 pound with 4.4. pound double strength hook length, possible hair rig with maggot clip to size 14 and a black cap feeder?
