Another grub's stalker user here... I love them to bits, extremely comfy, and good for walking too. Not overly warm but combined with pair of
Long seal skins they are warm enough for anything I go out in.
My main gripe was that they are tricky to get off - I had to buy a tool and repeated...
Michael, you seem to be forgetting that you are a guest of bfw and Andy Frances here - criticising moderation is a sure fire way to shorten your posting lifetime.
I dont see any authors of angling monthly reviews stating any financial involvement with those companies, I dont see any...
Jim,
FYI the mods took a look at this, and whilst we saw the funny side, one has to consider the angling club's point of view - hence we moved the thread.
Your subsequent phone call justifies our action. By the way I dont know the club concerned.
Its incredibly difficult to get dry humour...
IMO, the only reason they state for external use only is because they are so concentrated, and will absolutely cause you to be ill if you eat it... Rather than food grade vs none food grade. As long as its 100% pure then there can be little difference... I've bought from cotswold helath...
Plum is very effective - especially with fishmeal base... Think essential do a plum-shellfish flavour? Had lots of summer fish on cranberry + squid (2 separate flavours from cc moores). Confectionary flavours all the way in winter though!
My Sky Plus had a major failure last night, although have been following the fish fight on twitter. Maybe 4OD will have it, or be repeated.
Definately worth supporting - I visit Norway for a fishing holiday each summer, and they seem to have the fishing about right - meaning that the angling...
Anybody see the seal eating a carp on the Severn? Above the weir too!
Large carp, difficult to say but close to 30 one would think?
Was just on points west, maybe on Iplayer or YouTube later...

Paul,
Giving some thought to next friday 10th, HW @ 22:08, 11.6m... Too big for Battery?

Andy
My old man has lost a rod to a Mystery fish up there Paul - almost certainly a Tope whilst fishing for huss!
Not totally sure why WSF aint publsied the wieght of this one? My guess is its just ounces over his old record but thats no slight on the capture!
Andy
Yep plenty of fish about locally, no "proper" cod yet but its early days yet. I had 3 short sessions over the weekend, and had 20 codling and 1 rockling - biggest only around 2.5 lb though.
Andy
Was certainly a great day out Paul! Not quite normal either, although luck is but a small part! Hopefully the next set of tides will bring some bigger fish too, fingers crossed. I'm away next week, but will be thinking of a session ASAP after that!

Another who has found Flyweights to be rubbish, Used to have a set but found it tricky to zero and read, and a few mates' sets have been proved to be weighing well light as Tom mentions above. I am also dubious about digitals so not sure what I will do when my Avons no longer do the job...

Dave,
We've had this very conversation before... I wont speak for Andy but in general I absolutely think that moderators should not need to justify any moderating decisions. I can assure you that in general stuff wont just dissappear, but some times it is necessary, and in those cases I would...
Gents, Have copied in all the valuable (IMVHO) posts from the old board below - not perfect but took me a while to sort the wheat fromt he chaff already! Apologies for taking a while to get round to it too.
Cheers

Hello one...
Logging on at work there are loads of photos (not all) that members have posted, which I cannot see. I just see the little red cross icon.
Just me or same for others?
Admittedly I am running a very old version of IE (no choice here). Im just wondering if they are blocked...
