Anyone going to Telford on Sunday?

Just got home, I live in Plymouth and it is 248 miles to Telford, Fuel cost £73 , I also couldn't get a cheap B&B so we ended up in Haughton Hall for 2 nights (my wife enjoyed her time there in the pool and spa), bigger expense than expected. I often fish at Shrewsbury which is about 9 miles...

    Korum spopper

How tight is the trigger? It needs to be very free to work. Get a 3mm drill and give it a gentle ream to let the trigger work.

    Korum spopper

I checked mine Richard, the small one was quite tight in its hole and would have needed to hit a hard surface to open it, I used a 3mm drill and just slightly rubbed the hole and all was good, now opens on a soft surface. The one on the XL version did not need expanding as it was much freer on...

    Korum spopper

Assuming they work as expected then this will be a great but at £10-15. Anything less than £20 still makes it an easy product to buy and use. It all depends how many Korum have ordered as they current ones tend to sell out quick., especially at the beginning of the season.

    Spoppers in stock

Hi All, cheapest I could find the minis were £12 plus the costs of converting them and making a small profit as well as Andy's charge made them about £25, I would also have to make a mould too (even with Rich's offer). Not a go'er at the moment.

    Braid for spod reel ?

Make sure you use a wire trace from the spopper to the line, pike have been known to take a spopper on its way back on the surface. I use 60lb braid, 8 strand from Rodeel costs between £9 and £12 for 300mtrs. When I was using it to pull my Deeper GPS free from a tree, the swivel broke before...
