As people say this is subjective to different opinions the one thing I will say is that the Torrix 1.75/2.0 is DEFINITELY NOT TIPPY and has plenty of power towards the butt.
I have the Torrix 1.75 and 2.00 and they do everything I need, built by Bob Gill and 15 years old. If there was something I deemed better I would buy it but for me there isn't. Can't compare with the Hi S as I haven't seen them.

Not unusual, secretary of one of our local angling clubs works for southern water, I found out because he mailed me from work.

Had a call from MB last week regarding fishing a couple of the clubs stretches, he is a member of the club and took the trouble to make sure we were ok with this and asked if there was anything we wanted him to do. Not all anglers do this.

Most leases increase every year by inflation and in order to keep the waters and the clubs solvent clubs have to increase prices. As far as I am aware all clubs are non profit making, the profits they make are banked to be in a position to lease/buy other waters that become available.
