A basic question but if you’re fishing a river like the Wye this time of year how much bait do you put in and how often?
Would you use a big feeder full of pellets and hemp or a pva mesh bag? Or Groundbait balls or use a dropper?
How often would you cast?
Fishing is about as good as it gets for being in the moment without actively meditating IMO. I think watching a float, quiver or Rod tip would put most of us in a meditative state without realizing it.

I've fished Walthamstow at night and I've never heard gunshots. It's urban there but it's not the Wild West - I've fished there for years and never felt unsafe and I'm a bit of a scaredy.
