I have the elixer 6 sticks and some of the new cheese feast sticks but to be fair i have only played at it with them so no fair test has been given as yet regarding the barbel, had some good chub on the cheese feasts.
Pm Patrick leigh on here. He'll put you right mate ;-)
Took my son out on Saturday for a session but we ended up on stillwater fishing lobs and maggots, him on the feeder and myself on an old sealey float rod with a pin stalking the edges with a chopped worm and we managed about 15 perch nothing big but good fun was had :-)
Dropping temp is not ideal.
Steady temps are ok
Increasing temps are generally considered to be the best opportunity.
This all reads very true, but i personally feel that if i had to go by a water temp before wetting a line then half the time i would of drove home after taking the temp...
Lmao ;)
Cheers guys, since angling for more species i'm enjoying myself again and it seems like a whole new world as apposed to sitting behind the buzzers with a mass of pan clattering anglers ;)

I'm sure/hoping it'll be worth the wait. ;)
we ordered the book 2 weeks before xmas and it still hasn't turned up??
Strange!! It seems a bit hit and miss then?
And you can only seek as you find, and a respond to e mails dont take 2 mins but i haven't even had that!! So next week i'll be yelling down the phone if they pick up that is??;)
Not a good way to run a buisness for sure, i'd certainly think twice before ordering again:mad:
Oh well i'll keep chasing and waiting before throwing rattles outta prams!
As you say....It doesn't look good on them guys at all!
Cheers for the replys, i thought it was just me:rolleyes:
Can anybody state what the usual delivery times are for these guys?
The better half ordered catching the impossible before xmas and as yet nothing is forthcoming!! Have sent a few e mails to them and still nothing, no replys either?
Anybody else had problems?
