Hi Robert, I've got the Fox Bob James 5 piece Travel Carp Rod in 2.75lb. Nice rod with good finish,green blank with full cork handle and protective tube. The only comment would be test curve seems less than the one stated on my 2.75lb, can't comment on the 2.25lb though. Hope this helps...

Another vote for the Powerstretch in 10'. Drennan Super Specialist is good too, but I feel more confident in strength of Powerstretch when it comes to the crunch.
