Got to go to Nottingham one day next week and thought I'd chuck the tackle in and have a dabble. Not really fished this area of the Trent much.

2oz normal flour 2 eggs 1/4 pint of full fat milk and water Once mixed keep it cold as possible till it goes int oven on full whack. Turn the oven down to 7 after 10 minutes then cook for another 10/15 mins
Thermos king is better than owt I've ever used by a distance. Had one for about 10years and Use it pretty much everyday and still going strong.
I've you fill it with hot water from the tap at night and leave the top off to soak at night the water in the morning is incredibly still warm.
